I am a travel fanatic. Traveling to new destinations, meeting new people & experiencing different culture and cuisine is something I want to do on a regular basis. This time it is, a little more special. My Marriage anniversary is approaching. I wanted a give a surprise to my hubby dearest. I thought why not plan something that involves my passion as well as his liking [ he is a die heart foodie & a nature lover ]. I had been brainstorming for some time but couldn’t decide what? How ? Where ? And most importantly How much? Sometimes destination clicked, but travel expenses were too high or at times some airlines were providing economic fares, but the destination they were offering were not at all exciting. I was losing sleep over this.
The list of itineraries was elaborate, but yet I hand picked few exciting places that offer something for all age groups. The place that top my list is Petronas Tower. It is one of the tallest buildings of the world. With a height 1,453 feet, it looks like a trophy to the majestic land of Kuala Lumpur. It represents growth & progress in past two decades . Especially at night its beauty multiplies many folds.
2. Thean Hou Temple
Next in the list comes Thean Hou Temple, a beautiful six-tiered Chinese temple dedicated to the queen of heaven Thean Hou. It’s a brilliant piece of architecture and traditional design. It includes a Medicinal herbal garden, A wishing well & a tortoise pond. They add enough charisma to the place & made it popular among tourist & locals alike.

Merdeka Square, the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur, holds a historical place. It was where the Union Jack was replaced by Malaysian Jalar Gemilang . It is always nice to take back a piece of history of the place you visit. A feel good vibe of the place is definitely going to replenish your senses.
