Historical Park Of Geoje POW Camp is a piece of history that takes us back to the devastation war had caused. It is dedicated to hundreds of thousand soldiers who fought for their country. It is located in Gyeongsangnam-do, Geoje, South Korea.
This facility was built to hold the POW ( prisoners of war) after the outbreak of Korean War. It held around 170,000 prisoners of war. Later the camp was reconstructed into a historical park to help the visitors comprehend the tragedies of Korean War.
The trip starts with the Tank exhibition. Designed as war tank, it is surely going to entice you to take the trip back to the history.
Inside the tank exhibition, you will see life-size statues of War Heroes.
The visual are coupled with stunning sound effects. You will feel as if you are actually at the site of the war.
There is a part of POW camp dedicated to ‘ World Peace’. You will see a beautiful exhibition inside. There is also a children play area & a 4 D movie show that runs for around 30 minutes. It shows a war movie. It is a nice one. You are surely going to enjoy it.
